Illinois Farm Bureau members are joining our campaign to rewrite the 2015 Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule. Join us as we work to ensure farmers can continue to farm without overreaching regulations.

Why Join?

This campaign provides Illinois Farm Bureau members a new creative platform to share key messages and lead the conversation on this important issue.

Illinois farmer’s are asking for a new definition of 2015 Waters of the United States rule that will protect water quality while also promoting economic growth, minimizing regulatory uncertainty, and respecting the proper roles of Congress and the states under the Constitution.

How can you help?

Illinois Farm Bureau members can share their message on social media.

  1. Get a rubber duck. That’s right we said rubber duck!
  2. Share photos, videos, and snaps, on all your social media platforms, of your duck
on non-navigable areas of your land.
  3. Use the hashtags #FloatUs and #CleanWaterClearRules with each post.
  4. Tag IL Farm Bureau on Facebook and Twitter with your photos and videos.

Pass our message and your duck to your neighbor when you’re done with it.

Illinois Farm Bureau looks forward to working with the USEPA and the US Army Corps of Engineers in the future to write a new rule that protects our nation’s waters without penalizing farmers.
